 Sweeper Parts Bellevue - Bellevue is a city situated within the Eastside region of King County, Washington. It is located across Lake Washington from Seattle. For a lot of years, this area was considered to be a satellite city or suburb of Seattle. Now, it is categorized and known as an edge city or "boomburb." The 2010 census recorded the population to be approximately 122,400.
The downtown core of Bellevue has been experiencing fast change and growth and is now the 2nd biggest city center within the State of Washington. There are more than 35,000 workers and around 5000 residents in the region. Bellevue is the 6th richest among 522 communities in the state of Washington based on per capita income.
Originally settled in the latter part of the 1860s and early 1870s, Bellevue quickly became a popular site for inhabitants of nearby Seattle to enjoy their summer homes. The first towering evergreens within the area eventually were removed to make way for agriculture. For the first half of the 20th century, the city of Bellevue was recognized for its abundance of blueberry and strawberry farms. During 1940, the very first floating bridge across Lake Washington was completed and immediately, the city of Seattle became a suburban and much more accessible site. Since the individuals flocked to the community, the whole area underwent much growth that continued for some decades when more companies and families ushered in. In 1953, Bellevue was incorporated as a city.
Thanks to the highway access via Interstate 90 and State Route 520 into downtown Seattle, the city of Bellevue began to flourish. Bellevue is located near Microsoft's home within Redmond Washington. Currently, the city is home to various head offices of various large and small companies, a good portion of which are businesses which were born in the 1990s. There are a lot of thriving commercial districts in the area including 3 major shopping centers aside from Bellevue Square. These shopping locations are: Factoria Mall situated in the south, Crossroads Mall to the East and Overlake Shopping District within the North.
The city of Bellevue has held ever since 1947, the yearly Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair, which operates at the end of July. This fair is able to draw thousands of guests to the area each year. As well, the city also holds an annual Strawberry Festival in order to pay homage and celebrate its history of strawberry farming.
The Bellevue Sculpture Exhibition is held in the city each year, attracting thousands to the Downtown Park. On hand they have as many as 46 three-dimensional art creations from artists from all-around the United States. There is also the yearly Bellevue 24-Hour Relay which takes place in the Downtown Park every month of July.
In a short driving distance of Bellevue are lots of places of interest. The Bellevue Arts Museum is situated in the downtown area. This is considered to be the main center within the Pacific Northwest for the exploration of arts, crafts and design. There is a particular emphasis placed on regional artist's works.
The KidsQuest Children's Museum is one more gem in the city of Bellevue where kids can interact with educational displays, exhibits and play areas. There are different discovery areas and classroom space available for large school groups. Another terrific site to visit is the Bellevue Botanical Garden. This huge wonderland consists of 53 acres showcasing wetlands, meadows, woodlands and display gardens. During December, the Garden hosts the annual Garden d'Lights Festival. Scores of families come to enjoy the three-dimensional sculptures of plants and animals that are constructed making use of bundled Christmas lights depicting nature-themed scenes.
